Research at Inside Passage is in service to the health and well-being of our biophysical landscape and the communities that depend upon it. We’re focused on collaborative projects and programs that uncover new knowledge, guide policy-making, engage and train undergraduate and graduate students and bring visiting researchers to southern Southeast. Past projects include community-based land management planning, socioeconomic analysis of forest plan implementation, K-12 forestry curriculum development, nearshore habitat monitoring and watershed restoration effectiveness monitoring.
