Alongside our research and student programs, IPFS operates a few short-form custom trips each season. 4-7 days in length and available for all ages and abilities, custom trips have included kayaking, hiking, data collection for ongoing research projects, community tours, beachcombing, whale watching, gardening, and excursions to Anan Bear Observatory and up the Stikine River with our friends at Alaska Charters and Adventures. Our faculty and staff serve as guides throughout your stay and proceeds from each custom trip support our other work.
